Fatih Rüştü KAPLAN

Born in 1977, Fatih Rüştü KAPLAN completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Istanbul. He graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Finance in 2001. In the following years, he received a double-branch Master's degree from Marmara University, Institute of Social Sciences, Departments of Financial Economics - Macroeconomics and Financial Law - Tax Law. He has a Master's thesis on Special Consumption Taxes and Their Applications in Turkey (2004) and a project on Proof and Interpretation in Tax Law (2003). Kaplan, who started his banking career in 2002, worked at Finansbank, Koçbank and Akbank respectively.

After working in the Financial Analysis, Branch Commercial Banking and Credit Allocation teams in the Banking and Finance sector, he was appointed as Mixed Commercial Branch Manager at Akbank in 2011. In the following years, he first served as Regional and then as General Directorate Commercial Banking Sales and Marketing Manager.

His works mainly focus on Corporate, Commercial, Investment Banking and Project Finance. Kaplan, who became Akbank Bahçekapı Commercial Branch Manager in 2019, ended his 20-year banking career and joined Artaş Group as Finance Group President in 2022.

Kaplan, a Certified Public Accountant, is married and has a daughter.
